Our Journey So Far
2021
Trent's boat was found unmanned near Mud Island (Bangamba) 14th April 2021. Family, friends, community, police, SEQUEST & VMR searched tirelessly. In 2021 alone, VMR was activated for 284 search and rescue operations, highlighting the urgent need for their services. Despite their dedicated efforts, Trent was never found. Our heartfelt goal is to enhance their capabilities so that other families can be spared the same heartache we experienced.

Gold Coast Marathon 2022
Louis Riley honours TBUNS in the 42 km Gold Coast Marathon 2022. He carried Trent's flag across the finish line making the time of 3h 15min.

Gold Coast Marathon 2023
Shannon and Louis participate in the Gold Coast Marathon to honour Trent. Trent's siblings decided to make it their mission to support the Volunteer Marine Rescue by making a goal to raise funds on behalf of Trent in the Gold Coast Marathon 2024.
